Welcome to Long Eaton & District u3a
Established in 2007, we are part of a world-wide organisation with over 1000 u3as in the UK. We offer a wide variety of leisure and study activities for people who aren’t in full-time work. There is no lower age limit.
Our members come together to enjoy new interests or develop existing ones while making friends along the way. Since we learn only for the pleasure of it, no qualifications are required and none are given.
We are entirely volunteer-run and draw on the knowledge, experience and skills of our members to organise these groups for the benefit of our members. Most of all, we aim to create a relaxed environment where everyone can feel at home.

In addition, there’s a Monthly Meeting on the third Wednesday of the month (except August) with either a guest speaker, a social event or a display from one of our groups. Why not come along as a visitor to a Monthly Meeting and find out more about us? A warm welcome awaits you!

To join any of the interest groups it is a requirement of the Third Age Trust that you first have to become a fully paid-up member of Long Eaton and District U3A.
