We read and discuss poems on a topic chosen by members of the group. Topics have included Birds, Travel, The Arts, The Sea, Change etc. Poems may be ancient or modern.

We find that many poems are more rewarding when discussed in a group setting, and we've all enjoyed being introduced to new poets and poems. Discussion is informal and wide-ranging. We often leave the session wanting to find out more.

An interest in poetry is essential, but an in-depth knowledge is not necessary.
